First, why Longhorns?
As the hardy, relatively hands-off cattle breed they are, Longhorns are full of personality and rich Texas history. They’re the perfect choice for those interested in the cattle business but perhaps without the time to dedicate to full-time herd management.
What does “Butler” mean?
Butler Longhorns are one of the original seven Longhorn families. These seven lines were separated for physical traits that each breeder found appealing. Milby Butler, and subsequently his son Henry focused on long horns, big horn base, and an exceptional twist to the horn growth.
Can you eat Longhorns?
Yes! Longhorn beef is THE leanest beef available, has lower cholesterol levels than chicken breast, and tastes better than anything you find at the grocery store.
